Cryptic recommends

...an art event taking place at our home of CCA Glasgow: Direct Serious Action is Therefore Necessary by Glasgow-based artists Joanne Tatham and Tom O'Sullivan, a new commissioned exhibition for CCA, developed and constructed as a specific response to the CCA, its function, history and architecture.

In common with many of Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan’s most significant projects, it is the choreography and curation of the pieces in the exhibition, rather than the pieces themselves, that should be seen as the work. The exhibition will work with and against the conventions of the CCA spaces, positioning pieces across the venue to reframe the experience of visiting the CCA: Direct Serious Action
