War turns truth to lies and makes lies truth
Using Irish author and poet Brendan Kennelly’s adaptation of Euripides' The Women of Troy, Trojan Women takes a 20th-century approach to the drama, exploring the complexities of the women portrayed and defining the nature of their courage.
Directed by Cathie Boyd with set, costume and video design by Julia Bardsley, sound design and real time visuals by Martin Parker and lighting by Guiseppe d’Iorio.
