Cryptic’s Artist Residency Programme, delivered in partnership with Cove Park, offers musicians and digital artists dedicated time, space and professional support to focus on creative research and experimentation. The residency prioritises artistic development over final outcomes, enabling artists to take creative risks, explore new directions and deepen their practice. Alongside independent research and development, participants engage with peers, exchange ideas and benefit from shared learning in a supportive, collaborative environment. This opportunity is vital for both artists and Cryptic, playing a key role in nurturing the next generation of creative talent.

Since 2012, Cryptic has curated this annual residency at Cove Park, supporting the development of over 90 UK and international artists working across music, sound and digital arts.

15 artists from eight countries join us for 2026: Aga Paulina Młyńczak (UK/PL), Alex Smoke (UK), Aurora Engine (UK), Ban Lei (CH/CN), Daira Ronzoni (UK/AR), Ito Eats (MM), Lana Enix (UK), Martin Green (UK), Saba Aznarashvili (GA), Shankar Saanthakumar (UK), SHHE (UK/PT), Tatsuru Arai (JP/DE), Konx-om-Pax (UK), Veronica Petukhov (UK/IT) and Yasmin Kuymizakis (MT).

Saba Aznarashvili’s residency at Cove Park is implemented within the framework of the “International Study Visit Programme”, one of the components of the Creative Compass Georgia project. This initiative offers creatives a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in the cultural and creative industries (CCI) through international exchange and collaboration. Creative Compass Georgia project is funded by EU and co-funded and implemented by the Goethe-Institut Georgia.
