Raydale Dower’s practice combines sculpture, sound, image and performance. With this new work, (……..), Raydale continues to consider sound as a sculptural medium, exploring musical composition, poetic resonance and elements of chance within space. An orchestra of loudspeakers performs an evolving soundscape while synchronised lighting creates a visual form of music. The orchestra of loudspeakers is based on a concept originally developed by the Musique Concrète composer François Bayle.
