Cryptic Nights artist, Matthew Grouse performs two of three audiovisual works from his collaboration with visual artist Andy Sowerby (Eye of the Storm and Scratch) – the final work of the triptych will be premiered at his CCA, Glasgow show in 2020.
During the concert, Grouse will also be diffusing an acousmatic version of a piece for solo soprano saxophone and live electronics, I scream at the wind (I hear no answer) alongside Smoke’s beautiful So Below.
His time at Visiones Sonoras Festival starts with the world premiere of a solo clarinet piece, Apertures, being performed by Onix Ensemble member, Fernando Domínguez.
This will be followed by the presentation of lectures at the festival and ENES of UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).
