muto major AKA Samm Anga and Veronica Petukhov perform HERETIK, a multi media performance combining vocals, electronics, live visuals and AI. The work draws on Nigerian storytelling traditions to suggest routes out of our increasingly dystopian present. Blurring the lines between theatre and live set, HERETIK introduces AI as a third presence on stage, prophesying the near future.

Samm Anga and Veronica Petukhov were part of Sonica Next Gen: a unique showcase of the best young audiovisual artists in Scotland supported by PRS Foundation and PPL in association with Youth Music, at Sonica Glasgow 2022.
