Following Tom Fraser and Simon Tong’s Sonic Bites on Thu 8 July, MIRRY: Reverie shows reworked recordings of Mirabel Lomer. She worked as a carer in the 1050s, and her nephew Geoffrey Drage recorded her piano compositions and filmed her. These were discovered during lockdown by Geoffrey’s nephew Tom Fraser and, with Simon Tong, they have reworked these recordings and brought them to light with project curator, Kirsteen McNish.
